A massive kitchen that, oddly enough, also feels cosy and welcoming when one walks into the space. To keep the open concept, there are induction cooktops, embedded refrigerators and freezers one reaches down into. There are cabinets below the marble counters, holding what seems to be an inexhaustible amount of plates, cups, glasses and even fancy barware, though the latter seem to be a bit dusty. (“The owner doesn’t really imbibe,” says one of the cleaning staff, who always seems to come from some discreet nook when needed to clean up some spill or the remnants of a meal. “But he would never refuse someone if they wanted a drink.”)
