“Rules of the Closet Pocket Dimension (CPD)
It can only be accessed by stopping on this floor with the elevator. When the elevator doors open, it opens to the closet and whatever is inside the closet. Nothing else.
You can’t access it through a wall, ceiling or floor. You’ll just end up in the elevator, with holes in it now that you’ll have to pay to have repaired.
The closet is never the same closet twice in a row, except for when the Primary Person (the first person to push the elevator button that accesses the CPD floor, referred to as Primary) exits the elevator and enters it again within the next 5483 seconds (91.38333 minutes).
The closet accessed is the same closet no manner how many people are on the elevator or how many people pushed the elevator button. Whomever pushed the button first (the Primary) is whatever closet the elevator doors open up to and will be shown to everyone inside the elevator.
In order to access a new closet, all person(s) must exit onto a new floor through the elevator. The Primary has 5483 seconds to reenter the elevator and access the CPD floor, before anyone else does in order to access the same closet. If no one enters the elevator within that time, the closet resets to the next person that enters the elevator and accesses the CPD. This can only be done a total of 3 consecutive times before the CPD resets when the elevator doors close on the 3 time.
You may enter the closet by fully exiting the elevator if the current closet is large enough to hold at least 1 (but no more than 3 total) persons, one of which must always be the Primary. Secondary persons may not access the closet unless accompanied by a conscious and willing Primary.
The elevator will be locked to Floor 5483 until..
The Primary (and accompanying secondary persons) has exited the closet and reentered the elevator, and the elevator doors have completely closed.
A total of 5483 seconds have passed. You cannot access the closet for more than 5483 seconds. If 5483 seconds have passed and you’re still inside the closet, the closet will reset and all contents will disappear. All. Contents.
We don’t know where.
We don’t know how.
We don’t know why.
We don’t know how long.
F29 is the only exception.
Items may be taken out of the closet and returning them isn’t necessary. They will continue to exist in whatever form you’ve found them in regardless of CPD status, but will disappear on F29. Empty containers, items that have worn out, broken or no longer useable can be discarded as normal, but will also disappear on F29.
Addendum: There is no guarantee that any two similar items will work exactly as expected. None of the effects have been of a serious nature, that we know of so far, except for one… (See following bullet point). But they can be very strange and sometimes a bit disturbing. Or fun, depending on how you look at it.
Items inside the CPD are whatever things any “person” would put in a closet. So you might find cleaning products, cleaning tools, clothing, electronics, hardware parts and whatever else anyone can fit inside a closet… not all of which are… you know… normal.
Don’t fucking eat or drink anything found in the CPD! Don’t ask why. It’s gross. Ok? It’s part of Rule F29.
