As dictated by u/ReactsWithWords, this is the Spiral Tower Museum of Art. “No relationship to The Gallery.” Below is the introduction given by him, which I feel is most appropriate as it’s like a museum tour guide’s introduction:
“You enter, like most museums, at the gift shop. The first room is the Renaissance room, our most popular room. Statues by Michelangelo, Da Vinci’s original Mona Lisa that The Louvre doesn’t know it lent us; all of the Ninja Turtle namesakes are well represented here. The hall to the left goes back in time (metaphorically), with rooms covering (but not limited to) medieval art, rooms each for ancient Roman, Greek, and Egyptian art, early Japanese art, precolumbian Native American art (including from the Aztecs, Incas, and Mayans), Australian aboriginal art, finishing with prehistoric art.
The hall to the right goes forward in time, with rooms covering (but again, not limited to) Post-Renaissance, impressionists, cubists, surrealists, abstract, pop art, other modern art, finishing with a room on New Media art including a computer dedicated to everything jodi.org links to – click that link a few times to see what I mean).
There’s also the Exhibit room – each month exploring and highlighting a different theme, genre, or artist.”
Additionally, the Anime/Manga room (normally) displays 25 large images, 15 of which are permanent, mostly from Studio Ghibli films, and the rest rotate among the collection, plus a mini-theater that seats 25 that plays anime 24/7.
