As dictated by the US Department of Defence, this is the Emergency Floor. The following is a short description of the floor provided by one of the employees:
“You stumble upon this floor after hitting a mix of odd dials and numbers in the elevator. At first glance, the room is pitch dark aside from endless rows of blue lights reminiscent of an airport tarmac. After rubbing your eyes to adjust for the darkness, you realise they’re all computer screens with an equal endless number of customer service agents.
You hear near you, “Please hold, your emergency will be registered and addressed in the order it was received. According to our log, we expect to get back to you in 1-2 business centuries.”
Here you see where every emergency call is logged or ignored- it’s a matter of perspective really. The walls are all drab concrete except for barred doors. The entire room exudes an oppressive sameness- good on the interior decorator. Really nailed it.”
